Gathering Feedback on Health and Human Services Indigenization Activities (Community Cousins Test)

The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback around how the Faculty of Health and Human Services (HHS) is doing with its work to incorporate Indigenous ways of knowing and being into the curriculum and overall Faculty. The survey will ask about your experience as an HHS student. It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Responses to the survey will remain anonymous and will not be associated in anyway with your student file at VIU. Written comments will not be attributed to you, but will be edited or censored if you identify yourself in your comments. Survey responses will be aggregated so only group-level information is report. By pressing ‘next’, you are consenting to participating in this survey under the terms outlined above.

As well, some of the questions in this survey will ask you to reflect on your experiences and it is possible that this may bring up some difficult emotions for you. Please ask for help if you need it. You can contact Counselling Services at 250 740-6416 or drop by the Health and Welness Centre on the 3rd floor of Building 200. You can also connect with Services for Aboriginal Students in Shq'apthut (the Gathering Place - Building 170) or by calling 250-740-6510.

Also, as a thank you for participating in this survey, you can choose to enter into the prize draw at the end to win one of three $50 gift cards to the VIU bookstore.
